Daniel Davis, MD
Dan Davis MD FACP is a Board certified
General Internist in private practice located
at the Queen' s Medical Center Physician
Office Building. Dr. Davis serves as the
personal physician for patients from teen
years through old age, focusing on prevention,
diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases.
Dr. Davis is sometimes referred to as "the
doctor’s doctor” because he
is often called upon to act as consultant
to other physicians to help solve puzzling
diagnostic problems and manage complex situations
where several different illnesses may strike
at the same time. Dr. Davis is a Fellow
of the American College of Physicians, former
Chief of the Department of Medicine at Queens,
Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine
at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns
School of Medicine, and is certified by
the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Davis has served in many healthcare
leadership positions and is actively engaged
in telemedicine research and development.
Jeffrey Killeen, MD
Dr. Killeen is director of Pathology at
Clinical Labs of Hawaii at Kapi'olani Medical
Center. He is also the associate program
director of the University of Hawaii's integrated
pathology residency program and an assistant
clinical professor in both pathology and
pediatrics at the UH John A. Burns School
of Medicine. He has very strong interests
in breast and gynecologic pathology. Dr.
Killeen earned his Doctorate of Medicine
degree from Loma Linda University.
David McEwan, MD
Dr. McEwan is a Board certified family
practice physician. He completed his medical
school training, internship and residency
training in Family Practice at the University
of Manitoba. He was board certified in 1976
and joined the Honolulu Medical Group in
1977. He has been active in community affairs,
co-founding Hawaii’’s Life Foundation,
and serving a board member for Hawaii Race
for the Cure, the Hawaii Association for
Physician Indemnity and Hawaii Bound. In
1991, Dr. McEwan was the recipient of the
prestigious Allan F. Saunders Award for
Civil Liberties advocacy.
James Pearce, MD
Dr. Pearce is Board Certified in Neurology.
His special interests include epilepsy,
memory and sleep disorders, headache, stroke
and pain. He received his Doctorate of Medicine
degree from Loma Linda University. Dr. Pearce
completed his residency at UCLA Affiliated
Hospital and fellowship at Western Reg.
Epilepsy Center.
Jared Sugihara, MD
Dr. Sugihara is Board certified in Internal
Medicine and Nephrology. He received his
Doctorate of Medicine degree from Harvard
Medical School. Dr. Sugihara completed his
internship and residency at the Bush-Presbyterian
St. Luke's Medical Center and fellowship
at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Ira Zunin, MD, MPH, MBA
Dr. Zunin earned his medical degree from
UCLA, completed residency in Preventive
Medicine and earned a Masters degree in
Public Health at the University of Hawaii.
He has also completed an Executive Masters
Degree in Business Administration. He spent
several years studying Tibetan medicine
in India and Nepal, gained additional training
in Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a member
of the American Academy of Acupuncture and
serves on the Hawaii Board of Acupuncture.
For much of the past 20 years, he has been
actively engaged in creating a synthesis
between complementary and conventional medicine
both from a clinical and managerial standpoint.
